Education Advisory Panel – call for members

About the call for members of the Education Advisory Panel (EAP) The Education Advisory Panel (EAP) is a new advisory group being established to support user-centred design work on developmenteducation.ie. The EAP will involve a diverse group of educators that can give direct feedback on the piloting and implementation of the programme. As an independent quality-check mechanism, the EAP will be tasked with giving feedback and suggestions as part of consolidating a user-centred design approach in the programme. More specifically, members:
  • Will actively take part in a new ‘expert educator’ space, which will involve bringing suggestions, ideas and dispositions for the benefit of the target audience of the website.
  • Are currently active in formal or non-formal education roles (such as primary, post-primary education, youth work, adult and community education or higher education such as initial teacher education or training)
  • Will support technical testing and a more user-centred approach
  • Take part in 2 meetings per year (1 in person in Bray/Dublin; 1 online)
  • Commit to joining the EAP for a term of 2- years with an option to renew for another 2-year term.
